Baseball and boredom

I had this idea last night to draw and paint about baseball and boredom, and I did just that.

I had ideas for the above two before I thought about making this blog post.

This was basically in my head when I thought about making baseball pictures for a blog post. Speaking of boredom...

I couldn't help it. It's also kinda fitting since it was storming after I drew all the pictures. Because of that, I had to wait a while.

I have a disease. It's called artist block.

I have been having trouble thinking of topics to draw about lately. For the past two days, even if it has nothing to do with this blog, I normally draw the sketch. However, when I'm in the middle of the black lines, I start thinking, "Nah." Then I close the program. This picture is the only exception, and it explains how I'm feeling right now.

Avatar... the last airbender???

This is the character I have been using as a profile picture for as long as I can remember. It has a little story to it as well, other than it's my character.
I was drawing this character one day a super long time ago, and my dad saw it. He told me that I should use it as my avatar.
During and before that time, I always thought of the Nickelodeon TV Show "Avatar: The Last Airbender" whenever I heard the word avatar. I never watched an episode before, although I think I watched a little bit of the spin-off or something called the Legend of Korra, but that was it. Nowadays, I don't really think of it as often as I used to.
Either way, it stuck with me since, and I still use this character as my avatar.

Magical cowgirls in space... What?

I had this idea for a while, now. What if a collage of different famous artists on YouTube (Mark Crilley, CartoonLoon, Marydoodles, etc.) got together to make this BIG DVD and book set of how to draw all sorts of different styles of art, different media (Including digital), and different genres of comics/manga. That way one could learn how to draw cowgirls, how to draw astronauts, how to draw magical girls, how to draw using watercolors, or how to draw magical cowgirls in space... with watercolors!

Yeah... I can totally see it now...

Dreams and events and pictures! Oh my!

Dreams can be amazing. They make the impossible possible, and they can either be the most amazing thing you've ever experienced, or the last thing you want to see.

Here's what I mean. Imagine this: a giant game that could be described as a collage of different genres, characters, and franchises. There's Link (from Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker), Vince and different enemies from his game (Voodoo Vince), Maleficent (from Sleeping Beauty), Sonic the Hedgehog, and his friends and enemies from the games, Mario from Paper Mario, flying turtles, giant T-rex skeletons, giants made of boulders, chasing levels, levels where you're being chased after, levels at night as well as sunsets and daytime, vines and platforms you can climb on, and haunted private yachts to explore. The circumstances can make you scared, but it will make you scared that you might not make it to the next level. It's hard, but it doesn't frustrate you to no end. It's fun overall with loads of hours of gameplay, and you can't let go of the controller.
Sounds like fun, huh? It also sounds like a dream come true, doesn't it? In a way, it would be a dream come true, 'cause at some point and time in my life, I dreamed of different aspects of this game at night and maybe other unfamiliar things in the same dreams. I also dreamed of a virtual reality MagiQuest and a MagiQuest-like Pokemon game, both of which would be awesome, but those are different games I dreamed of.

Why am I talking about dreams when this is about drawing amd humor?  To put it simply, dreams make great inspiration of art.

This one is old, but it is a good example. In the dream, I saw something on TV which scared me to death. What I saw was lots of lightning bolts and explosions near a house with its own garden. I dreamed of storms sort of like it (One time, the abnormal storm was called a gorilla, and I'm not even scared of monkeys 'til I actually see one in real life and get a tad nervous.)
This one is newer than the other one. What happened in this dream was I was doing something in the dining room, and I hear my younger sister and brother watching the third season of Princess Tutu. Then out of the blue I saw the first volume of Mermaid Melody. While my younger sister was reading it, I went to watch the first episode of the third season of Princess Tutu. Those that watched Princess Tutu all the way are probably asking, "What third season? There were only two." Remember when I said dreams make the impossible possible? This is a perfect example of that statement without it being the obvious flying without help (like airplanes or wings).
This one is the newest one I drew (And by new, I mean today.). What happened in this dream was a jumbled mess. In no particular order, someone stole my blue truck and took it to Mexico. It was my job to get it back.(I don't even have a truck, much less a blue one.) My younger sister and I were swinging side by side, and the swings somehow turned to a rollercoaster. (Making the impossible possible again.) And I was trying to catch a Pokemon in MagiQuest. (Wait... What?) In the actual dream, I was trying to catch a Sawk, a fighting-type Pokemon in Pokemon Black and Pokemon White, but when I tried to draw a Sawk, it didn't turn out so well, so I drew a dragon instead.

Now before I end this post I want to talk about an event going on Facebook called "Haven's Art Gallery". I have some traditional pictures on there up for auction. To explain this art-related event, I will copy and paste the description:
