Doors...

  It has been a while since I last posted. I had school to work on, things, to do, people to see, and Flipnote Studio 3D to wait for. It has been busy, but I do have a drawing to post here.

 

This type of comic strip is seen in certain Japanese comics like Lucky Star, for example. One strip is on the left, the other is on the right. I thought it would be interesting to try. That's all for now.

Lake Fun!

Two days ago, I went swimming at a lake while my sister went fishing with a friend. She caught a bluegill while he caught a tree branch, or something. After we went home, I had the idea for this post's comic.

Random Thought for Father's Day

I was thinking of what I should do for Father's Day today, and I couldn't think of anything but a drawing idea I had for a while but never drew for some reason.

Mother's Day Comic

Happy Mother's Day, everyone. I decided to make a comic for those who will go out for dinner at a fancy restaurant later.

I'm going to be honest. When I thought of this, I wasn't thinking of Mother's Day, but then I thought that it would be a good idea to draw it for today.

Free Comic Book Day Was Awesome!

Yesterday was awesome! While standing in line to get free comic books, I took a picture with Zelda, colored a picture of Wonder Woman, and overall had a good time. After getting the free comic books, I looked around the store and got three more volumes of Sailor Moon (I already had the first three) and some Star Wars for my older sister. After leaving a pizza buffet, as we went home, I read some of the free comic books. The entire trip was awesome!

After I read a bit of Sailor Moon at home, I decided to change my profile picture to this.

The Second Most Wonderful Time of the Year

One week from now is the second most wonderful time of the year. I've been dreaming about it for a few weeks. And that day is Free Comic Book Day!

On the first Saturday in May, participating comic book stores hand bags of free comic books to people coming in. This is my third year knowing about this day and my fourth time going to a comic book store in general. I can't wait!

Twitter for Artists with Game Systems

  If you haven't seen my profile or just look on the left side, I am a gamer. I've been one my whole life. I have a 3DS, and a really long time ago, I downloaded this nice $7 game called Colors! 3D. You can draw with it, and afterwards, you can watch it being drawn in time-lapse and upload it to the Colors! gallery if you have an account. I drew the bunny from my Easter post on it.
  Colors! 3D had a huge update yesterday. The said update fixes certain glitches I (personally and thankfully) hadn't encountered, adds a search bar in the gallery, displays the brush cursor in time-lapse, and so much more. All the little things added to it, like the brush cursor in time-lapse, makes a huge difference in the switch from before and after the update.
  There has been a few additions to the gallery where I thought of Twitter. Before the update, and if you have a Colors! gallery account, you can only "like" paintings. Now, you can follow artists you like and tag your paintings with a hashtag. The latter screamed Twitter for me.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! I could say a million things about love, like how I don't think of love like everyone else, or that my brother a long time ago defined love as having hearts in your eyes like in the cartoons.

To me, however, I think of love as simply giving a hug to that one person that's always ignored, or volunteering at a clothes closet, or giving someone your shopping cart at the store when you're done with it, or saying sorry to that one person for being mean to him or her. Sometimes the smallest things can be acts of love.

Sometimes, not having a boyfriend or girlfriend is awesome, 'cause you don't have to center your life around making your boyfriend or girlfriend happy. It's just something to think about when (Anime reference in 3.. 2.. 1..) you decide to turn on your trauma switch 'cause you're single.

Catfish

Yesterday, I was watching for the first time a TV show called "Catfish". The first thing that popped in my mind when I heard of the show's title was a cat fishing. Then I thought of catfish. Then I thought of putting the two together, and this is what I came up with.

The actual show isn't about cats fishing, catfish, cats or fish, but I wanted to draw the picture anyway.
